Homeopathic Care at Hands and Hearts Birth & Wellness

Homeopathy is a generations old, gentle holistic system of healthcare that started primarily in 18th century Germany. Homeopathy works by stimulating the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Using highly diluted natural materials, ranging from pot ash to animal venoms, plant materials, minerals and more, homeopathy seeks out the underlying cause of symptoms rather than trying to suppressing them. This individualized approach, seeking symptoms as individual concerns is how we support physical, emotional, and energetic health for the whole family.
Hands and Hearts Wellness wants to help you focus on your complete health picture. Rather than simply treating isolated symptoms, we take time to understand your medical history, current concerns, lifestyle habits, emotional health, stress levels, and overall patterns of wellness. Much of the visit involves listening and asking questions to gain a broader, long-range understanding of what is happening in your body.
Initial consultations typically last one to two hours and include
a detailed review of your health history
discussion of expectations
education about how homeopathy works.
You are encouraged to bring
medical records
recent lab work
a full list of medications, supplements, herbs, and any previous homeopathic remedies.
Follow-up care is individualized and flexible. Some concerns require only one follow-up, sometimes by phone, while more layered situations may benefit from two to three follow-up visits spaced over several months. These visits allow us to evaluate how a remedy is working and make adjustments when needed—whether that means changing the remedy, modifying dosing, or adding supportive measures. Our goal is to respond promptly so care remains efficient and effective.
We also offer acute homeopathic consultations for sudden or urgent concerns such as illness, injury, or symptom flare-ups. These visits are typically 30 to 60 minutes and focus on addressing immediate needs.
Active participation and feedback is an important part of the process. We encourage maintaining a simple health journal during the course of your treatment to note changes in symptoms, energy, mood, and overall well-being. This helps both of us ensure we are on the right track and have selected the best remedy fit.
